New Look, New Illustrations

I gave my blog a new look, and now it's time for some new illustrations!

Here's one of my current favourite, with my new character --- yet to be named. This is one of the few new illustrations, do check out the rest at my website.

Digging the Old #2

One more (hopefully!), and I should focus on creating new illustrations instead.

Digging the Old #1

I'm such a perfectionist I can never be satisfied with my older work. Most people say I have a very consistent style, and my illustrations look like a series rather than individual pieces. But somehow, some of them look like they are calling for a retouch, perhaps Tutu just needs to get changed into new clothings! :)

Here are some old pieces which I've touched up, looking all brand new now!

My Website

After years of telling myself that I need it, months of actually doing it, and weeks of fixing it, my website is finally up!

Can't help but feeling a little proud of my achievement:)

Web design can be a real headache especially if you can only read some htmls, and it's definitely a nightmare if you cant! But I must say there's really nothing that you cannot learn, if there's a will, there must be a way.

My learning secret is:

"It's how you want it to look like, not just how you are capable of making it. If you want it a certain way, you can definitely find ways to make it that certain way."

My Namecards

Here's a little thank-you note to my Cousin Constance who has been so helpful and supportive that she actually sponsored for my namecards printing cost! I cannot thank you enough.

The editor of LOHAS magazine (published in Taiwan) had recently spotted Cousin Constance's work, and her work has then been introduced in the magazine! (read it here) I am really happy for her!

Year End Review

She has done it! Many would've had it done by now.

I should have done it too.

Guess I have been procrastinating a little too much. No, my job has been eating up too much of my time! Can I just quit my job, stay home and get my calendar done for 2008? Can I?? ;)

I take orders now! And this time, I will and I must get it done.

Please do bear with the typical scenary-or-architectural-kind-of-calendars that your boss, dad, or uncle may pass on to you due to an overflow of 'corporate gifts' for another year. Just one more year, and I promise a fashionably fabulous one for 2008!

I know it's wayyy too early, but stay tuned yeah! :)

My Art Blog

This is my first illustration for my artblog. Basically I'm hopping to meet people who are willing to share design ideas and experiences with me, since I'm rather new here!

When it comes to art, I believe it is all about style. I love incorporating people and fashion into my illustrations (So far I drew only women, will try drawing men one of these days!).

Take a look at my work. And if you like what I did, drop me a comment! And do come back to my blog as there will be more illustrations posted!

My definition of Relaxation:-

1. Having my daily coffee
2. Reading fashion magazines
3. After a day of shopping!
